This week we have been finding ways to use all our shells, rocks, pebbles and sea glass that we collected from the
beach recently. Creating/painting a little rock family was by far the highlight. I'm also working on stringing sea shells to make a garland of sorts.
What do you do with treasures you find on the beach? Any ideas?
Happy weekend lovelies!

This is so clever and very cute. I love the caterpillar. xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth!
DeleteThey are so cute! I used to love having pet rocks. You're such a creative mummy
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby, I remember having them as a child too, so much fun! x
DeleteI love your little pebble people - one of our neighbours has them scattered all round her garden as treasures (after they're painted)
ReplyDeleteWe have shells in glass jars but that's about as far as we've got
Good idea, I might send them out to the garden once they get sick of them! x
DeleteOh these are lovely! Such a beautiful thing to do with your poppets. x
ReplyDeleteThanks Steph, they loved it. x
Deleteso super cute, i now feel a bad mother as our beach treasures get carried around in bags until some 18 months later i find them again all putrid and stinking of rancid mermaid feet and then i throw them away and attempt to fumigate the area where they were stashed.... i thought that was what everybody did and now i see you turning them into painted families! oh the shame!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea...I am definitely going to pinch this one!
ReplyDeleteDo it! :) x
